Abstract
This study aims to give empirical evidence about the effect of dividend policy, free cash flow, asset structure, and firm growth on debt policy of manufacturing companies listed in indonesia stock exchange in 2014-2016. The population of this study is manufacturing companies listed in indonesia stock exchange. This study is using secondary data from manufacturing companies financial reports. The sample technique is using purposive sampling. Based on certain criteria, there are 122 manufacturing companies that used as sample. This study is using multiple linier regression as the statistical method. The result show that dividend policy, free cash flow, asset structure, and firm growth simultaneously has a significant effect on debt policy. Meanwhile partially, dividend policy and firm growth does not has a significant effect on debt policy. Free cash flow and asset structure has a signifficant effect on debt policy.
