Abstract
This study aims to determine and analyze the financial ratios to predict the condition of financial distress. Financial distress as a dependent variable is measured by earning per share. The independent variable in this study is measured by current ratio, debt ratio, return on investment, working capital turnover and sales growth. This research uses quantitative method. The population in this study is the transportation companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2013-2017. Pursuant to purposive sampling method, obtained 26 company which used as research sample. The type of data used is secondary data obtained from Indonesia Stock Exchange for transportation companies in 2013-2017. Analysis data technique used is logistic regression analysis. The results showed that leverage, profitability, and activity have a significant influence on the condition of financial distress, while liquidity, and growth has no significant effect on the condition of financial distress.
