Abstract
This study aimed to describe and analyze the effect of sales growth, profitability, leverage and operating capacity against financial distress. Financial distress as dependent variable measured by interest coverage ratio. The population in this study is the natural resource management companies (agriculture and mining) listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2012-2017. Based on purposive sampling method, acquired 28 companies that the research sample. The data used is secondary data obtained from the IDX (Indonesia Stock Exchange) for mining company in 2012-2017. Data analysis technique used logistic regression analysis. The results of the analysis indicate that the sales growth and profitability are able to affects the financial distress of mining company with negative direction. While the leverage and operating capacity are not able to affect the probability of financial distress. Keywords : financial distress, sales growth, profitability, leverage, operating capacity
