Abstract

Financial distress is the decline stage of the company's financial condition. Poor state of financial distress will lead to bankruptcy of the company. This study aims to determine the effect of leverage, liquidity, and firm size of financial distress on manufacturing companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange period 2013- 2016. Purposive sampling method is used as a method of sampling, so, it can obtain 325 samples of companies. Technique of analysis data used logistic regression analysis. Based on the results of the research showed that leverage has a positive and significant impact on the financial distress. While the mechanisms of liquidity and firm size do not have a significant effect on the financial distress. Key words: leverage, liquidity, firm size, financial distress.
