Abstract
This study was conducted to examine the effect of managerial ownership on firm value with profitability as an intervening variable. The company value in this study uses the Price Book Value (PBV) indicator and profitability using the Return On Asset variable. The population in this study are manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the 2014-2016 period. The analysis technique used is Descriptive Test, Classical Assumption Test, Simple Linear Regression Test, and Sobel Test. The results of this study indicate that: 1) Managerial ownership has a significant effect on firm value, 2) Profitability cannot be an intervening variable between managerial ownership and firm value.
