Abstract
this study aims to determine the influence of financial knowledge, financial experience, and ethnic on stock investment decision in surabaya with data analysis techniques used multiple regression analysis the sample consist of 166 respondents domiciled in surabaya, had a family minimal income of rp. 4,000,000,- per month. based on the research results, the ethnic did not significantly influence the investment decision. but financial knowledge and financial experience research positively effect on the investment decision. financial knowledge, financial experience, and ethnic simultaneously significant effect on the investment decision. this means investors should improve their financial knowledge and financial experience in order to become a basis in making stock investment decision
