Abstract
Having a happy life prosperous and is one of the goals of human life, especially when already married and enjoy the work. Life is felt when every family member has a job and can meet every need of his life. So that every individual can has the ability to invest. Based on the phenomenon, this study aims to determine the influence of experienced regret, risk tolerance and the type of work on stock investment decision making in Surabaya with data analysis techniques used are MRA and ANOVA test. The respondents were 166 people with the criteria of respondents domiciled in Surabaya, have family income Rp4. 000. 000 per month. Based on the research result, experienced regret has significant effect on stock investment decision. However, risk tolerance has no significant effect on stock investment decision. While there is no difference in stock investment decisions in Surabaya based on the type of work. Experienced regret and risk tolerance simultaneously have a significant influence on stock investment decision making. Keywords: experienced regret, risk tolerance, job type, investment decision
