Abstract
Sample of State-Owned Enterprises in the research that State-Owned Enterprises are privatized between January 2003 to December 2008. SOEs included in this privatization period there are 4 companies, namely PT. Perusahaan Gas Negara, PT. Adhi Karya, PT. Wijaya Karya, PT. Jasa Marga. This study uses secondary data obtained from financial reports of each company. The data obtained was processed by using statistical analysis as a tool to test the hypothesis that researcher using the Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test. These results indicate that there are significant differences between the financial performance of SOEs before and after privatization when measured using the liquidity and profitability ratios (ROE). but if measured using the activity ratio and solvency ratio, there was no significant difference in financial performance of SOEs before and after privatization Keywords : Financial performance of state-owned enterprises, Privatization
