Abstract
The objective at this research is to investigate the effect at earnings predictability toward form performance of Bank in the Indonesia stock exchange. Earninghs predictability reflected earning quality. The bank performance used income statement or 7 indikators listed on the Indonesian Capital Market Directory (ICMD).The higher predictability at earnings the higher quality.The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the predictability of earnings on the financial performance of banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange Indonesia or Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) period 2007 - 2010. This study tests 48 years of data from 12 banks in the BEI, the bank's financial performance is measured in 7 indikators, CBTD, LTD, ETA, OPM, NPM, ROE, and ROI. Predictability of earnings is defined by the variance EPSt-1 on EPS. Hypothesis testing using multiple regression analysis of total assets (logTA) is a control variable in the influence of predictability of return on financial performance and results only ETA, NPM, OPM dan ROI is not affected by the predictability of earnings and three significant hypotheses.
