Abstract
The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of economic value added, market value added and the systematic risk on stock returns of minning firm registered between 2007-2009 on Indonesian Stock Exchange. The data is sampled using purposive sampling. The result of this study using multiple regression analysis find that only one variable (the systematic risk) that significantly affect the following year stock return with level of significance five percent. The implication on what a decision should be taken is enhancing the securities return, those industries must be able to level up their net profit, therefore the dividend sharing will be higher, which at the end will bring more on investors' interest." To enhance the MVA, that industries must be able to enhance their nett profit, which will make a greater dividend sharing, then gain more investors' interest." To improve the EVA value, those industries should be consistent and focus on their core business, also the company's character should be able to support in adding the corporate value."
