Abstract
The capital market has the economic function to provide fund transfer facilities and financial functions to provide funding. The efficiency of the capital market is closely linked to the information available in the existing securities in the capital markets. An investor invest his fund in the shares of a company is to get the results of that investment. Stock investment return has two forms, namely, dividends and capital gains on the sale of shares. There are many factors that influence investors in the stock investment decisions. This study aims to determine whether profitability, leverage and dividend policies affect the investment decision on the mining company which listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange in 2010-2015. This study uses secondary data. This study using purposive sampling to eliminate the existing population with the amount of the final sample of 63 companies. This study uses hypothesis testing multiple linear regression analysis with the help of a data processing application SPSS 23. The results of this study indicate that profitability and leverage do not affect the investment decisions, while the dividend policy influence on investment decisions.
