Abstract
This study aims to determine the ability of financial ratios in predicting bond ratings in the banking industry. Financial ratios used in this study is the Leverage, Size Firm, Profitability and Good Corporate Governance.. Leverage in this study was measured by the formula Debt to Asset Ratio (DAR), Size Firm in this study was measured using the formula Ln=Total Asset, profitability in this study using the Return On Asset (ROA), Good Corporate Governance in this study was measured by Composite Value. The sample in this study is the banking industry listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) during the period 2008-2015 and rated by PT.Pefindo. Samples were selected using purposive sampling method. there are 15 samples used in the study of 40 banks. This study used logistic regression analysis test tools. Based on the results of logistic regression analysis with significance level of 5% has proved that: Size Firm and profitability significant effect on bond ratings, while the Leverage and Good Corporate Governance does not affect the bond ratings.
