Abstract
Hedging is an act by the company conducting international transactions to minimize the exchange rate risks. The purpose of this research is to determine the significance effect of leverage, liquidity and profitability to the use of hedging on manufacturing company in Indonesia Stock Exchange 2014-2016. The sampling method is using purposive sampling techniques and obtained 32 samples of companies that meet hedging and 240 firm-year observation. Analysis techniques applied in this research is using logistic regression analysis. Results of the research are leverage has not statistically significant for hedging dicisions. Liquidity that proxied by the currents ratio has statistically significant effect for hedging discisions. Return on asset as a proxy for profitability has not statistically significant for hedging dicisions. Manufacturing company that facing the risk of foreign exchange uncertainty should use hedging to protect thr value of the company. Keywords: hedging, leverage, liquidity, profitability
