Abstract
The objective of this research is analizing the relationship between sales growth, size and dividend policy to debt policy at Indonesia Stock Exchange : an perspective of agency theory. Agency conflict appears because of contract that is made by agent as the manager and principal as the owner of the company. Agency conflict can be reduced by releasing set of policies that is used to monitor agent as the manager of the company. This study aimed to example the effect of sales growth, size and dividend policy to debt policy on manufacturing companies listed at Indonesia Stock Exchange. The population are all manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2012-2015. Samples was determined by purposive sampling method, sample obtained as much as 148 companies. Using regression linear as method analysis. The results of study concluded that (1) sales growth has no effect in predicting debt policy; (2) size has an effect in predicting debt policy; and (3) dividend policy has no effect in predicting debt policy.
