Abstract
The main purpose of the bank's operations is to achieve the maximum level of profitability. Profitability is the most important indicators for measuring the performance of a bank. ROA (Return on Assets) is the ratio that indicates the overall ability of existing assets and used to generate a profit. The financial performance of the bank can be judged from the financial ratios of banks, such as the ratio of Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Non Performing Loan (NPL), Posisi Devisa Netto (PDN), Net Interest Margin (NIM), BOPO, and Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR). Data used in this research is secondary data such as quarterly financial report of Foreign Bank in 2010-2013. Sources of data obtained from the website of Bank Indonesia (www.bi.go.id). The goal then this study is explanation research who want to examine the effect of CAR, NPL, PDN, NIM, ROA, and LDR on ROA Foreign Bank in 2010-2013. In this study examines all foreign banks, so as not to use sampling techniques. Based on the partial results of the study that the variable CAR, NPLs, ROA, LDR negative effect.
