Abstract
This research aims to know the influence of independent variables namely managerial ownership, institutional ownership, debt policy, profitability, firm size and growth on the dependent variables namely dividend policy. Measuring dividend policy as seen from the dividend Payout Ratio. Data collection methods the study using pooled data of non financial companies listed on the Indonesia stock exchange in 2008 up to 2012. Data obtained from the Indonesian Capital Market Directory. As many as 18 companies used as samples. This research method using multiple regression analysis. The result of this research shows that the independent variables had simultaneous influence significantly on the dependent variable. Partially, the positive effect of managerial ownership variables are not significant, positive effect of institutional ownership variables are not significant, negative effect on debt policy variables are not significant, influential positive profitability variables was significant, the variable size of the company's negative effect was not significant and growth not significantly to positive on dividends Key words: dividend policy, institutional ownership, managerial ownership, debt policy, profitability, firm size, growth.
