Abstract
The capital structure is the balance between debt and equity capital used by thecompany to fund its operations. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of sales growth, asset structure and profitability of the capital structure in manufacturing companies. The sampling technique in this study using purposive sampling and sample of companies used in this study as many as 80 companies, research conducted in the period 2012-2013. The analysis used is multiple regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that the variable sales growth significant positive effect on the capital structure in manufacturing companies, while the structure of assets is not a positive effect on the capital structure at manufacturing and profitability as measured by return on equity (ROE) should not adversely affect the capital structure of the company manufacture.
