Abstract
Financial distress is a sign that precedes the occurrence of bankruptcy, it is important for companies to know the symptoms of financial distress. This study aims to examine the effect of liquidity which is measured by the current ratio, profitability as measured by return on assets, and leverage as measured by debt ratio in predicting financial distress in companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange period 2011-2014. The population in this study are all companies listed on the Stock Exchange from 2011 until 2014. While the sample is determined by purposive sampling method so that the company obtained 116 samples. The analytical method used is logistic regression analysis. Based on the results of logistic regression analysis with significance level of 5%, then the results of this study concluded: (1) liquidity has no effect in predicting financial distress in companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange; (2) profitability has a negative and significant effect in predicting financial distress in companies listed on the Stock Exchange; (3) leverage has no effect in predicting financial distress in companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange Keywords: Financial Distress, Liquidity, Profitability, Leverage,
