Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of financial literacy, financial planning, and financial attitude on the financial management behavior of Puskesmas employees in the North Surabaya region. Public sector employees have relatively stable incomes, yet face high living costs and economic pressures in a metropolitan city like Surabaya, requiring wise and effective financial management. This research adopts a quantitative approach with an explanatory design by distributing questionnaires to 111 Puskesmas employee respondents in North Surabaya. Data analysis was conducted using Multiple Linear Regression with SPSS software. The results showed that partially, financial literacy, financial planning, and financial attitude each have a positive and significant effect on financial management behavior. Simultaneously, all three independent variables significantly affect financial management behavior. These findings indicate that enhancing understanding of financial concepts, structured goal-setting and budgeting, and cultivating wise attitudes toward money are essential to foster responsible financial behavior. This research provides practical implications for public health institutions and policymakers in designing financial education programs to improve employee economic well-being..
