Abstract

"This study aims to analyze the effect of transformational leadership and work climate on teacher performance, with work motivation as a mediating variable in Islamic Educational Institutions. The research adopted a quantitative approach using a survey design. The sample was selected using a saturated sampling method. Data were collected via questionnaires and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). The results showed that transformational leadership and work climate have a positive effect on teacher performance. Furthermore, transformational leadership and work climate also positively influence work motivation, while work motivation is proven to positively affect teacher performance. The main finding of this study indicates that work motivation acts as a mediating variable in the relationship between transformational leadership and work climate on teacher performance. This study emphasizes the importance of implementing inspirational leadership, managing a conducive work climate, and strengthening work motivation to sustainably enhance teacher performance in educational environments."
