Abstract
This study aims to design a web-based Inventory Management Information System for CV. Bintang Karya Nusantara to enhance inventory management effectiveness through the application of the First-In, First-Out (FIFO) method and a perpetual inventory recording system. The research employs the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology, encompassing the planning, analysis, design, implementation, and testing phases. Data collection is conducted through observation, interviews, and literature review. System testing is planned using the Black Box Testing method to ensure that every system function operates in accordance with user requirements. The expected outcome is a system capable of managing item data, recording inbound and outbound transactions, providing real-time stock information, applying the FIFO method to inventory management, and automatically generating inventory reports. The designed system is expected to reduce recording errors, accelerate data retrieval, and improve the accuracy of inventory information. The study concludes that the design of a web-based Inventory Management Information System can support a more effective, efficient, and integrated inventory management process that meets the operational needs of CV.
