Abstract
This UD Kunci Mas is a building materials distributor that serves various retail stores. In its transaction process, recorded purchase data has only been used for administrative purposes and has not been fully utilized for analyzing customer purchasing patterns. In fact, such analysis can help the company identify product combinations that are frequently purchased together, which can then be used as a basis for promotion strategies and inventory management. This study aims to design a web-based recommendation system for building material purchasing patterns using the Apriori algorithm. The Apriori algorithm was chosen due to its ability to discover frequent itemsets and generate association rules that represent relationships among products. The developed system allows administrators to upload transaction data, process it using the Apriori algorithm, and display the results in the form of purchasing patterns and product recommendations. The results show that the system can assist the company in automatically identifying product purchasing patterns and presenting them through an interactive and user- friendly web interface. With this system, UD Kunci Mas can leverage transaction data to support decision-making, improve promotional efficiency, and optimize sales strategies.
