Abstract
Fundraising is the process of influencing the community, both individuals and representatives of the community or institution, to use the funds owned by an organization. Waqf fundraising activities can be needed to collect waqf through money. This study aims to determine the strategy of waqf fundraising through money at Wakaf Mandiri Yayasan Yatim Mandiri Surabaya. The method used in this study is a qualitative research method with a snowball sampling approach, namely through sampling from a population. In this study, the selected informants had a systematic level in accordance with the research objectives. The first informant in this study was related to fundraising carried out with the Fundraising Manager, Website Manager and Waqf Administration. Nazir has an important role in developing a waqf fundraising strategy so that the acquisition of waqf funds can be obtained optimally. The results of this study show that the strategy of fundraising waqf through money at Wakaf Mandiri Surabaya is used in two ways, online and offline, which are brochures, banners, flyers, webinars, WhatsApp blasts, and requests for cooperation proposals. The effectiveness of the fundraising strategy implemented by Wakaf Mandiri Surabaya has been quite effective by being able to maintain the number of gains not far from the previous level amid the Covid 19 pandemic.
