Abstract
This study examines the influence of Job Insecurity and Creative Self-Efficacy on Innovative Work Behavior through Employee Engagement among Generation Z employees in the F&B industry in Surabaya. Using a quantitative survey design, data were collected from 190 respondents aged 18–28 years with at least six months of work experience. The data were analyzed using PLS-SEM with SmartPLS. The results show that Job Insecurity and Creative Self-Efficacy significantly and positively affect Employee Engagement. In turn, Employee Engagement has a significant positive effect on Innovative Work Behavior. Additionally, both Job Insecurity and Creative Self-Efficacy directly have a significant positive influence on Innovative Work Behavior. Employee Engagement also plays a significant mediating role, strengthening the relationship between Job Insecurity and Innovative Work Behavior. These findings suggest that even under conditions of job uncertainty, strong employee engagement can sustain and enhance innovative behavior among Generation Z employees in the F&B sector. Keywords: Job Insecurity, Creative Self-Efficacy, Employee Engagement, Innovative Work Behavior, Food and Beverage.
