Abstract
The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of financial ratios and sensitivity to macroeconomic variables to financial distress in manufacturing company. This study is using secondary data which is financial statements of the manufacturing company listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange period 2007 to 2011. The variables of financial ratios is using liquidity ratios, activity ratios, solvency ratios, profitability ratios, the ratio of market and sensitivity macroeconomic variables measured by values sensitive to interest rates and inflation. Value of financial distress is measured by financial distress cost. Methods of analysis used the normality test, multiple linear regressions, t test, F test and the coefficient of determination. The results showed that the variable liquidity ratios and solvency ratios significantly influence the value of financial distress costs, while variable activity ratios, profitability ratios, the ratio of market and sensitivity macroeconomic variables have no significant influence to financial distress.
