Abstract
The raw material procurement procedure is one of the important aspects in maintaining the smooth production process in a manufacturing company. PT Steel Pipe Industry of Indonesia, as a steel pipe manufacturer, relies heavily on the procurement of quality coil raw materials to ensure that the final product produced meets the established standards. This study aims to analyze the coil raw material procurement procedure at PT Steel Pipe Industry of Indonesia, focusing on its effectiveness and contribution to production efficiency. The research data were obtained through documentation methods and interviews with parties directly involved in the procurement process. Data analysis was carried out using descriptive analysis methods, effectiveness analysis, and contribution analysis. The results of the study indicate that the coil raw material procurement procedure at PT Steel Pipe Industry of Indonesia is effective with an average effectiveness of 97.5 percent in the 2015-2019 period. However, the contribution of this procurement procedure to production efficiency still needs to be improved, with an average contribution of 4.8 percent which is included in the sufficient category.
