Abstract
Financial planning is important in dealing with uncertain needs and desires. Financial planning is the process of achieving life goals, namely a prosperous and happy future through financial management. Family financial planning is a strategy for how families can achieve family financial goals in the short, medium and long term. This study aims to examine the effect of lifestyle, spiritual intelligence, and financial literacy on family financial planning by family financial managers in the Gresik Regency area. The number of respondents in this study was 155 respondents with criteria aged 25-50 years, were family financial managers who lived in Gresik District, and had an income (husband and wife) of at least IDR 4,000,000 per month. The sample collection technique uses purposive sampling and convenience sampling. SEM-PLS (Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Square) analysis technique with the SmartPLS3 tool. The results showed that lifestyle has no significant effect on family financial planning, spiritual intelligence has a positive effect on family financial planning, and financial literacy has a negative effect on family financial planning.
