Abstract
Financial distress is a stage of deteriorating condition when a company experiences financial crisis, usually occurring before bankruptcy or liquidation. Therefore, this study aims to examine the influence of profitability, liquidity, and leverage on financial distress in manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the period 2016-2020. This research is a quantitative study that uses a sample of 15 companies in the food and beverage industry listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the period 2016-2020. The data analysis technique used is logistic regression using the SPSS program. The results of the study show that profitability, liquidity, and solvency can predict financial distress. Partially, profitability has a negative and significant influence on financial distress, liquidity does not have a significant influence on financial distress, and solvency does not have a significant influence on financial distress. Keywords: Profitability, Liquidity, Leverage, Financial Distress.
