Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of profitability, liquidity, asset structure, firm size, and sales growth on the capital structure. The population in this study are manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the 2017-2021 period. This research was conducted using a purposive sampling method with the final data used as many as 444 companies. The analysis technique used is descriptive statistics, classical assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis and hypothesis testing. The results of this study indicate that profitability, liquidity, and firm size have an effect on capital structure, while asset structure and sales growth have no effect on capital structure.
