Abstract
This study aims to determine the differences in abnormal returns before and after the increase in fuel prices (BBM) in 2022 and to determine the differences in trading volume activity before and after the increase in fuel prices (BBM) in 2022. This research uses an event study approach. by using 37 food and beverage companies listed on the IDX as research samples. Data collected using the documentation method. Data analysis in this research uses the Wilcoxon Signed Rank test. The results of the study show that there are differences in abnormal returns before and after the fuel price increases in 2022 and there are no differences in trading volume activity before and after the fuel price increases in 2022.
