Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of CAR, NPL, LDR, NIM, and DER on conventional banking’s stock prices. The data used in this study were obtained from annual reports during 2016 – 2020. This study uses a purposive sampling technique with criteria determined by the researcher, so the sample included in the criteria is 98 samples. The data in this study is using secondary data by collecting all the required data through annual reports as per sample and period used. Statistical analysis in this study is using multiple linear regression analysis accompanied by descriptive test, classical assumption test for data normality test, autocorrelation test, heteroskedasticity test, multicollinearity test, and continued with hypothesis testing. This study shows that the data is normally distributed after reducing the data as much as 97 outlier data, which was originally 198 to 98 samples. The results of this study indicate that CAR has a significant negative effect on conventional banking’s stock prices, NPL, LDR, NIM, and DER have a positive effect on conventional banking’s stock prices. Keywords : CAR, NPL, LDR, NIM, DER, parametric test, and conventional banking
