Abstract
The aim of this study is to know the level of efficiency among Islamic Banks (BUS) in Indonesia. In this case, Bank of Muamalat Indonesia (BMI), Bank of Syariah Mandiri (BSM), Bank of Mega Syariah Indonesia (BSMI), Bank of BRI Syariah, Bank of Panin Syariah, and Bank of Bukopin Syariah are investigated during the study period of 2010 to 2013 using parametric method namely Stochastic Frontier Analysis (SFA). The data is taken from banks’ annual report that published by Bank of Indonesia or Financial Services Authority. The calculation uses cost efficiency approach that calculates deviation of estimated cost function. This study is secondary research which the samples are chosen based on purposive sampling method. The result of this research is Islamic Bank of Panin has the greatest level of efficiency among Islamic Banks in Indonesia. An input-output variable which mostly affects financing is the fixed asset and deposits. Key word : Efficiency, Input, Output, Stochastic Frontier Analysis (SFA)
