Abstract
Debt policy is an approach in terms of expanding or reducing the company's obligations carried out by the administration to obtain sources of funding for organizations that tend to be used to assist organizational activities. This study aims to determine the effect of free cash flow, profitability, sales growth, liquidity, dividend policy on debt policy. The sample used in this study amounted to 75 data from property and real estate sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2016-2020 period. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis, descriptive test, and classical assumption test using SPSS. The results of this study indicate that the variables of free cash flow, sales growth, and dividend policy have no significant effect on debt policy, while profitability and liquidity have a significant effect on debt policy.
