Abstract
This study aims to analyze the effect of concentrated ownership structure on firm value with profitability as a mediating variable. The dependent variable used is PBV. While the independent variable is a concentrated ownership structure. The mediating variable used is profitability. The sample used is 36 companies according to the criteria with purposive sampling method as a sampling technique. The analysis technique used in this research is multiple linear regression and path analysis. The results of the study show that simultaneously concentrated ownership and profitability (ROA) have a significant effect on firm value (PBV), while partially concentrated ownership has no significant effect on firm value and profitability. Profitability as a mediating variable in this study, cannot mediate the effect of concentrated ownership on firm value. Based on these results, investors are expected to pay more attention to the level of company profitability. Keywords : Concentrated Ownership Structure, Profitability, Firm Value
