Abstract
This study aims to examine the effect of Islamic financial literacy on decisions to use Islamic financial products. The data collection technique is purposive sampling technique. The data used in the form of primary data by distributing questionnaires in four areas of East Java including Gresik, Surabaya, Sidoarjo and Lamongan. The analytical technique used to see the influence between the independent variable and the dependent variable is to use Multiple Regression Analysis (MRA). The results showed that the level of financial literacy related to fiqh muamalah and products had a significant positive effect on the decision to use Islamic financial products, while the level of literacy regarding Islamic financial contracts did not significantly affect the decision to use Islamic financial products. The implication of this study is that it is known that Islamic financial literacy in East Java is more influenced by financial literacy variables related to fiqh muamalah and products, so that Islamic financial institutions are expected to further increase public insight through socialization of financial literacy related to Islamic financial contracts.
