Abstract
The financial performance of the company is defined as achievement of management of a company. One strategy that is widely used by managers in improving the performance of the company is implementing a strategy of mergers and acquisitions. The purpose of this study was to determine the differences in the company's financial performance as measured by the current ratio (CR), debt to equity ratio (DER), return on assets (ROA), and total assets turnover (TAT) in the first, second, third and fourth after mergers and acquisitions. This study uses 18 company mergers and acquisitions that are listed in the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The analysis technique used is the Wilcoxon signed rank test. Based on the analysis found that there was no significant difference between CR, DER, ROA and TAT also the first year with the second, third and fourth after mergers and acquisitions, although there is a financial ratio that there are significant differences that TAT for a period of 1 year comparisons after and 4 years after mergers and acquisitions .
