Abstract
This study aims to examine the effect of the independent variable on the dependent variable. The independent variables used are firm size, profitability, managerial ownership and institutional ownership, while the dependent variable is debt policy. The population used is manufacturing companies in the property andsector real estate which are listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) 2017-2019. The sample used is 42 property andcompanies real estate by using purposive samplingsampling as atechnique. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression using the IBM SPSStest tool. Statistics 23. The results showed that institutional ownership has an effect on debt policy, while firm size, profitability and managerial ownership have no effect on firm value.
