Abstract
Every individual hopes for an independent, happy, and financially prosperous life, especially when entering retirement. However, this financial prosperity must be achieved with various efforts. This study aims to examine the effect of financial literacy, hedonistic lifestyle, and income level on financial management behavior. The sample consists of 146 worker respondents who are domiciled in Surabaya. Sampling was done by purposive sampling and convenience sampling. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling on PLS (Partial Least Square). The results of this study indicate that financial literacy and income have no significant effect on financial management behavior, while the hedonistic lifestyle has a significant positive effect on financial management behavior.
