Abstract

Overview of Islamic Business on Gen Z Behavior in Using Payment Gateway (Case Study of OVO and GoPay User Students at Universities in Surabaya). This reasearch aims to examine Islamic business reviews on the behavior of generation Z users of the OVO and GoPay payment gateways among students in Surabaya. This reasearch uses a qualitative method. The data was collected by interviewing, observing, and documenting ten informants. The data obtained were analyzed using case studies and tested for truth using source triangulation. Based on this research results, six informants are users and payment gateway service providers OVO and GoPay, and four informants are only users. This payment gateway is already being used to make payments to businesses that have implemented the sharia business. Online payment providers OVO and GoPay have also implemented a Sharia business, although they have not implemented it as a whole. The OVO and GoPay payment gateways on ten student informants in Surabaya show that they use the OVO payment gateway more often than GoPay to fulfill their daily needs in making online payments.
