Abstract
ABSTRACT This study aims to analyze the effect of profitability, capital structure, liquidity, and asset growth toward the firm value of transportation companies listed in the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2015 to 2019. Variables of this research are profitability proxied with ROE (Return on Equity), capital structure proxied with DER (Debt to Equity Ratio), liquidity proxied with CR (Current Ratio), asset growth proxied with AG (asset growth), and firm value proxied with PBV (Price to Book Value). The data analysis technique uses multiple linear regression analysis with the SPSS program. The sample has been determined by using purposive sampling and predetermined criteria so that 9 companies that have fulfilled criteria have been obtained as samples. The result showed that profitability and asset growth simultaneously affect the firm value. Partially this research showed that: 1) profitability has a significant and positive influence on the firm value, 2) capital structure has no effect on the firm value, 3) liquidity does not have a significant effect on the firm value 4) asset growth has a positive and significant effect on the firm value.
