Abstract
Public Perception of Sharia Perspective Payment Gateway (Case Study on Paytren). This research aims to examine public perceptions of the Islamic perspective payment gateway on the Paytren application. This research uses a qualitative method. The data was collected by interviewing, observing, and documenting ten informants. The data obtained were analyzed using case studies and tested for accuracy using source triangulation and theory triangulation. Based on this research results, five informants are Paytren business partners, and five informants are Paytren application users. Perceptions and views will appear different from society. Every individual has their respective perceptions in responding to something. Some have the perception of good and bad. Most of the informants considered that while joining and using the Paytren application, both from the business partners and the user side, it easier to pay for daily needs and was faster in use, so there was no need to leave the house anymore. Besides, many benefits can be taken advantage of and get various rewards that have been achieved by business partners. Not only that, every transaction has the value of alms. The Paytren legal system is also clear because Paytren has received a sharia certificate from the DSN-MUI. Paytren also does not contain money game elements. The products in the Paytren application itself are also clear and there is no compulsion to join or use this application.
