Abstract
The aim of this study is to examine the influence of propensity to plan and materialism to the retirement planning behaviour with impulsive buying as mediation variable. The sample used in this study is a person who have income Rp 4.000.000,- per month, has a minimum 2 years working experience, and live in Java with 250 respondents. This The technique to analyze use Partial Least Square (PLS) by using PLS 6.0 program. The result of this study explain that propensity to plan have a positive significant influence to the retirement planning behaviour, but materialism have a negative influence to the retirement planning behaviour. The result of this study also indicate that impulsive buying mediates the influence of materialism on retirement planning behaviour.
