Abstract

PT. East Java Regional Development Bank Tbk is one of the trusted banks and has the widest network in East Java, PT. East Java Regional Development Bank Tbk Surabaya Main Branch is the place for the final project research. The purpose of this study is to determine the marketing strategy applied by Bank Jatim to develop SimPel Savings. The research method used is descriptive qualitative data collection techniques, namely interviews, literature study and observation. Bank Jatim currently has several superior products that can compete both in terms of technology and proximity to the community. The savings product in which Bank Jaim is one of the banks appointed by the Financial Services Authority is SimPel Savings. From the research results, the marketing strategy used is segmentation, targeting, and positioning as well as the marketting mix of SimPel savings products. Every time you undergo a bank marketing strategy, you will encounter obstacles that can harm the bank. Therefore, the bank provides a solution by introducing the products offered to the public widely, as well as providing accurate and clear information about SImPel savings.
