Abstract
Home Ownership Loans (KPR) are financing products or loans provided to customers, the amount of which is adjusted to the financing needs and ability to repay each applicant. In KPR financing, there are several types of interest obtained by debtors, one of which is floating rate, which means it is a determination of the mortgage rate that refers to market interest. Mortgage interest rates earned by a debtor can fluctuate. This financing product is managed by financial institutions, one of which is Conventional Bank, one of which is Bank Mandiri. Bank Mandiri is one of the banks that runs KPR (House Ownership Credit) under the name Mandiri KPR. In accordance with the floating interest rate system, not only Bank Mandiri other conventional banks also have the same difficulty, namely perspective and negative responses from customers and for the public, one of which is the decline in public interest in mortgages in banks with floating interest. The existence of these views and responses, the need for analysis related to this data is obtained through interviews, observations, and literature studies which are then analyzed descriptively. Based on the analysis results customers' perceptions of changes in mortgage rates at the bank's independent customers tend to continue to approve the calculation of interest.
