Abstract
Bank Perkreditan Rakyat (BPR) is a bank that conducts business activities conventionally or based on sharia principles in which its activities do not provide services in payment traffic. Consumer Credit is a credit facility provided for consumption purposes in the form of goods or services. This consumer credit is used for additional purchases of houses, additional purchases of two / four-wheeled motor vehicles, renovation of houses, and other consumption loans in applying for credit must meet certain conditions. The purpose of this study was to determine the requirements and procedures for consumptive lending, and barriers to consumer lending. This research method uses descriptive analysis method with observation and interview methods. The study is expected to find several problems related to knowing the requirements and procedures for granting credit, and obstacles in granting credit. In granting credit at PT BPR Sumber Artha Waru Agung there are obstacles including the documents submitted are incomplete, the number of plafonds submitted by customers is greater than Credit analysis has been carried out and because of the co-pandemic, 19 many businesses have been affected, so credit provision needs to be reconsidered whether it is accepted or rejected.
