Abstract

Bank is a financial institution that accepts deposits from the public and creates a demand deposit. Bank has three main activities, funding, landing and do the others services. The aim of this study to evaluate the effect of Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR), Loan to Asset Ratio (LAR), Investing Policy Ratio (IPR), Interest Rate Ratio (IRR), Net Open Position (NOP), Non Performing Loan (NPL), Adversely Classified Asset (ACB), Fee Based Income Ratio (FBIR) toward to Return on Asset (ROA) simultaneously and partially. The subject of this study is Bank Pembangunan Daerah Konvensional, with period from quarter of 2014 until the second quarter of 2019. This study used purposive sampling. BPD Sumatera Utara, BPD Riau & Kepulauan Riau, BPD Sumatera Selatan & Bangka Belitung, BPD Kalimantan Timur & Kalimantan Utara are the samples for this study. The results of this study revealed that 1) LDR, LAR, IPR, IRR, NOP, NPL, and ACB have a significant effect on ROA simultaneously; 2) NOP and NPL have a significant negative effects on ROA partially and 3) LAR is the most dominant effect on ROA.
