Abstract

Bank is one of the financial institutions engaged in the financial sector. All activities of the bank that runs a business goal that is getting big profits continuously in order to maintain the continuity of the bank. The success of a bank can be seen from the aspect of capital. CAR (Capital Adequacy Ratio) is one of the indicators used to measure bank capital adequacy. The study aims to determine whetever the independent variabels LDR, IPR, APB, NPL, IRR, PDN, BOPO, FBIR, ROA and ROE both simultaneously and partially have a significant effect on CAR and which variable is the most dominant effect on CAR. This study usess secondary data taken from financial statemens from the second quarter of 2014 to second quarter of 2019 banks listed on the IDX. The sample consisted of Bank Sinarmas, Bank OCBC NISP and Bank CIMB Niaga. Data is prossesed using SPSS 16.0 and F test to see the effect simultaneously and t test to see effect partially. The result show that LDR, IPR, APB, NPL, IRR, PDN, BOPO, FBIR, ROA and ROE simultaneously have a significant effect on CAR. However, partiallyy only APB and ROA have a significante effect on CAR. The most dominant is the ROA of 43,16 percent.
