Abstract
The aim of this study is to examine the effect of leverage, earning persistence, and firm size to earnings response coefficient. The research method used was a quantitative method with secondary data obtained from the analysis of the company’s financial statements. The dependent variable used in this study was earnings response coefficient as measured by slope regression coefficient cumulative abnormal return and unexpected earnings, and the independent variables used are leverage, earnings persistence, and firm size. Populations in this study are real estate and property company listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange during 2015-2018. The samples in this study were selected by using purposive sampling method. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that leverage and earning persistence have effect to earnings response coefficient, while firm size does not have effect to earnings response coefficient.
