Abstract
This study aims to examine the effect of managerial ownership, profitability, dividend policy, and company size on debt policy. The population used in this study was manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2014-2018. The number of samples used in this study were 222 companies using the purposive sampling method. This study uses secondary data, data obtained from the Indonesia Stock Exchange through the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) website and company website. Analysis of the data in this study is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that managerial ownership has no effect on debt policy, profitability has an effect on debt policy, dividend policy has no effect on debt policy, and company size has an effect on debt policy.
