Abstract

CAR is performance bank ratio to measure the capital of bank for risk asset that can be created. The capital of bank must be maintained from bank losses because that can be an alternative for credit failure risk or crisis conditions risk and credit of growth. The aim of this study to evaluate the effects of LAR, IPR, APB, NPL, ROE, NIM, BOPO, and FBIR toward CAR simultaneously and partially and also to know which variables that has the dominant effect on CAR. This study used secondary data and documentation as the method of data collection. This study used financial statements publication with period 2014 until 2019 from Bank Umum Swasta Nasional Non Devisa Konvensional. The analysis technical used multiple linier regression with SPSS 25. The result of this study revealed that LAR, IPR, APB, NPL, ROE, NIM, BOPO, and FBIR have the significant effect on CAR simultaneously. LAR, ROE, BOPO and FBIR have the negative significant effects on CAR, partially. However, IPR and NIM have a positive significant effects on CAR, partially. The most dominant variable on CAR is NIM with 36,12 percent contribution.
